Another place of historical history, which can also be found on Museum Island is the Berlin Cathedral, the cathedral itself is an extremely significant aspect of religious and historical importance, it is thought that it was built between 1894 and 1905.  There are many other sites which hold significant history, Checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin wall are very popular tourist attractions and attract thousands of visitors each year.
